Cool, I haven't watched the original Rocky in decades. I should check it out again.
Just my opinion, I think Rocky was and is a great movie, taken on its own. But I also think it was a pity they made a sequel. (And a great shame they made a third, and a tragedy they made a fourth, and an absolute bloody disaster they made a fifth. I haven't seen the sixth so I'll reserve judgement.)
Alan, I haven't seen all the sequels, but I'd totally agree, they aren't even a tenth as good as the original, or this last one. I may get the 2nd film too, but I can't see myself buying the others.
I do have a bit of a strange grá for the one where he fights the Russian dude, but I think that is more down to the fact that it is such a horrific film :)
