Katie Taylor is undoubtedly Ireland’s greatest sports person ever. She is one of the greatest female boxers in the world.Her father, and coach, Peter Taylor has already expressed his dismay at the lack of coverage her achievements receive. The way she is treated by the State’s national broadcaster is a disgrace.Sort it the fuck out, RTÉ.

sufficient for a specific requirement
So weekend one of this year’s Six Nations is over and done with, verdicts all in? For the most part I think that the winning teams don’t have too much to write home about. We didn’t put in a huge performance, but we won, so it’ll do. And to be fair, we never seem to pile on the points against Italy. So all those “doom and gloom” commentators can hang on til next weekend. Then they turn those frowns upside down as we beat France. Continue reading

What a wonderful world
Its been a busy weekend. Sat was all about the rugby. Obviously enough :) We headed to the pub for one o’clock. France V Italy went as expected, to France. Then it was England v Scotland, and again the team I didn’t want to win won. Booo! And finally at half five it was time for our game. And we all knew Wale’d be tough but still I knew we were going to win. No doubts. It’d be close, I knew that, but I was just so certain we’d win. Continue reading
