A star is born dir. by Bradley Cooper

I liked this film. I thought everything about it was well done. The performances were great. The story and writing was good. The direction and look of the film, it all worked. But it felt a bit flat to me.

Also, and maybe I’m missing something, but I expected the story to reflect the title a bit more, it was very much a Bradley Cooper film, not a Lady GaGa. I expected the opposite.

So while I’m glad I went to see it, and I liked it, I really don’t get what all the raving is about. But if you loved it, good for you.
