Issue no. 2 of Estella’s Revenge is up.
Have I mentioned the webzine here before? Probably not. Well, go take a look and you’ll see what its all about. Honestly, do you expect me to spoon-feed you all your life and tell you that is a zine with no real definite topic, but covers books, films, cooking, opinions, etc.
Actually, know that I think about it, I’m pretty sure I did mention it before. Well, maybe you all don’t remember.
Today is Mayday, the first day of summer. And yup, when I woke bhí an ghrian ag taitneamh, but it didn’t last long. By the time I’d left the house it was a little scamallach. But hopefully it’ll have cleared up by this evening.
I’ve been working on a new theme, and I think its mostly done, but I’ll probably wait a few more days before I switch over. It’s going to be a little more colourful than this one, but it’ll only be operational until May 20th, cause it is [tag]Munster[/tag] theme[1] to encourage you all to stand up and fight :)
And yes, I’m aware that this post really says nothing, but I’m bored at work. We only have 5 people here. Cúigear! Is it really worth us opening the library for five students? Maybe more’ll come in later, but I wouldn’t be too sure. Course, the reason is that they probably didn’t read the signs that said we’d be open and think we’re closed.
Yet another random topic change :)
I was watching a bit of that Ultimate Force thingy starring Grant Mitchell from Eastenders[2] and, damn if it aint[3] rubbish. They had a parachute drop, and showed whathisface Grant[4] landing. Only it was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever seen in my life. He looked like a sack of potatos, as did all the others. And at the funeral scene his uniform was too small for him. That’s ITV/C4[5] for you. Cheap.
It was some silly storyline about some ex-Soviet state and children being kidnapped. I can’t tell you what happened cause I got bored and stopped watching.
- you know, rugby and the European Cup final ↩
- yeah yeah, thats the name of the character not the actor but whatever ↩
- I blame Randy from American Idol for that ↩
- I’ll just call him Grant from now on, thats what most people know him as, so it’ll do… oh hang on its Ross Kemp. Naw, I’ll stick with Graaaaaaahnt ↩
- I’m hardly expected to remember what station it was on. I know there were ad breaks so not the Beeb ↩
Your title could have been a quote by Jack Nicholson, life can be stranger than fiction…
Yeah, I suppose most soaps have some interest in real-life stories.
But, of course, its so much more entertining when it happens on The Square and you can poke fun at people rather than sympathising with real people.
I feel bad, I was going to submit some stuff for ER 2 and got distracted. Well, maybe next time. I will definitely have a read though!
I hope you enjoy it Carl, and don't forget there is a link to the discussion forum too, I can't remember the url at the moment
