Happy Hallowe’en everybody. Unfortunately this year I didn’t get to dress up & party. I had my costume, all ready to rock and roll, but on the day I just wasn’t feeling very well. My favourite books were the Parasol Protectorate series, which I adored. And The Small Hand by Gail Carriger. And because Carl introduced the idea of the Peril on Screen I got to revisit two creepy Hallowe’en-y films. And I think, for the final final bit I might watch The Crow tonight.
I didn't go anywhere this Halloween either. It was actually nice to sit home and watch the World Series and read a bit!

We didn't actually get around to watching The Crow, instead we watched a BBC drama/documentary from 1992 called Ghostwatch. Was quite entertaining & very halloween-ey
Oh I REALLY have to read the Gail Carriger books!! They look so good and I keep hearing wonderful stuff about them! And yay for watching The Village :D I love that movie!!!

Oh you do have to. They are just so much fun.
Aw, man, you didn't get to go! That's shite. :-( And your costume was so awesome too.
Ah well, I suppose I have a costume ready for next year :)
One of the advantages of not doing a 'topical' costume! I managed to use neither of the costumes I borrowed off you. Someone better have a fancy dress New Year's party or something. Such waste otherwise! :-)
