I never did a Mount TBR post last month, but that’s because I went on holiday to Canada1 with a little day trip to Skagway, Alaska2 so there may be more additions than usual on this one.
- Nagata, Linda – The red: first light blame Renay
- Leicht, Stina – Cold Iron ; Renay’s fault again
- Hambly, Barbara – Dragonsbane ; rec’d by Aidan Moher on Tor.com, but also because 1) dragons, and 2) I’ve already read a book by Hambly & really enjoyed it.
- Smythe, James – Way down dark rec’d by Curiosity killed the bookworm
- Gotlieb, Phyllis – A judgement of dragons rec’d by Martha Wells on Tor.com – article about books about “exploring and Communicating with Alien Cultures”
- Hawkins, Scott – The library at Mount Char rec’d by Kameron Hurley (among others). This I have on order from the library

- Holmqvist, Ninni – The Unit ; Barnes & Noble – Take a Trip Around Planet Earth with 9 Translated Science Fiction Novels
- Lem, Stanislaw – Solaris ; Barnes & Noble – Take a Trip Around Planet Earth with 9 Translated Science Fiction Novel. But also I remember being intrigued by the film when it came out and the whole idea of everybody creating the people they know through interactions and memory and interpretation.
- Liu, Cixin – Three Body Problem ; Barnes & Noble – Take a Trip Around Planet Earth with 9 Translated Science Fiction Novels
- de Rojas, Agustin – A legend of the futureBarnes & Noble – Take a Trip Around Planet Earth with 9 Translated Science Fiction Novels

- Bear, Elizabeth – Karen Memory ; Renay and Read this – westerns
- Priest, Cherie – Boneshaker Read this – westerns but also because I really enjoyed her Lizzie Borden book. Plus steampunk-edness.
In conclusion I have added far too many books, especially when you consider that from now on every Kate Elliott book3 is a must read.
