It’s pretty impossible for me to be objective about The fast and the furious. I mean, I’ve been watching these films for 18 years. And sure, they’re nonsensical action films all about fast cars, but they also have heart and are really all about found families. And cars that go vrooom.
But it really is amazing looking back at this film now, and then looking at where the later films ended up. From boosting trucks and video players to traveling the world and jumping supercars out of buildings! We’ve come a long way baby.
