Supposedly this is a martial-arts action film about an FBI agent hunting down an assassin because he killed the cop’s partner. But in reality there isn’t enough plot for that. Which is very surprising because there is a LOT of story and very little martial arts. There is a fair amount of action, but it is all things we’ve seen before.

This was pants. Complete pants. Not even bad enough to be enjoyed. Harsh? Maybe, but true. I wasn’t overly fond of the first film but it did the job of light entertainment. This one though was boring. An unforgivable flaw in an action-hero flick. Everything was ultra predictable, and nothing sparkled. Not even McMahon as the ebil Von Doom. And

Frank Hopkins sets out to the Middle East to compete in a long distance race, 3,000 miles across the desert. Racing against the finest Arabian horses on his mustang Hidalgo, in an effort to escape his past. And that is the basic premise of the film. As a film it is far from anything special. As a matter of fact,

The latest offering from Colin Farrell and another film featuring cops. But sadly this is a rubbish film. The dialogue is so cliched that one has to laugh the whole way through, or else walk out in disgust. Luckily I was in the mood for a bit of a no-brainer, otherwise I would have gone to see Wilbur (wants to
