Story rory?

Published by Fence under Irishify, Sport

Hopefully BOD and Stringer will be back in two weeks for our match against England. Which we really really really have to win. But, horror or horrors, O’Gara has picked up an ankle injury. Eddie expects him to be fit for the next match, but you never know, and all credit to Paddy Wallace, but we would miss ROG. Just like we missed BOD yesterday.

Stringer too, although Boss was good, he is just that fraction slower on his passes than Stringer. Then again, maybe the French would’ve countered him. What ifs are no use after the match is lost.

But what a sickner.

In happier news it turns out that despite not really mentioning the Blog Awards, I’ve been nominated[1] in the Best Designed Blog section. I guess all my messing about with the template paid off :)

So off you pop and Vote, although that is a considerable long list.

Squally out, innit?

Published by Fence under Ramblings

Woke up to a hidjis morning today. Gale force winds kept trying to break into my room through the window, aided and abetted by lashing rain, and it was 5 o’clock. Luckily I fell back to sleep fairly quickly. I did get up a little earlier than usual, on account of the rugby tickets for the England match going on sale at 8.00am through a special secret part of the ticketmaster site. So I logged on at 10 to 8 and hit refresh a few times, until, just before 8 I was able to try and buy a ticket. But no luck whatsoever. Kept coming up with a lovely “no tickets available” message. Tried again when I got to work, jic, but still no luck. Just checked the site and they are all sold out.

Ah well, I still have my France ticket so I’m not bovvered.

The 2007 Irish Blog Award Nominations are now open. Must go check out the categories and see about nominees.

Right, I’m off to mess about with the template over at Susan hated Literature, but when I finish I’m planning[1] on doing my favourite films of 2006. Cause lists are what makes the internet so great.
