To say that there will be reduced blogging for the next two weeks or so. Possibly even none. Who knows, it is a mad mad crazy world.

Just a quick note
Many things to be done today. Review of A Midummer Night’s Dream. The reading of blogs. the leaving the comments on the blogs. the reading of emails. the replying to emails. the inane surfing. and the work. But I can’t be arsed.
The head is disconnected from the world for some reason today. Stuff is happening, I’m pretty sure of it, but I’m just meh meh meh. Distance. Or something. Fog. that’s it. There is a fog between me and the rest of the stuff that may or may not be occurring in the world. And jimmy cracks corn, but I don’t care.
Even an extra coffee this morning has done nothing to wake me up.
Maybe it’ll kick in later and I’ll go totally psycho. So if you return to find a whole host of posts written as though by someone on crack you’ll know why.
And in conclusion, a bunch of “naughty” words designed to increase the rating of my blog:
fuck. shit. Gobshite. fuck. death. blood. general naughtiness. crazy whacked out shit man. Drugs. I’m guessing the rating thingy won’t accept etc, but I just can’t be arsed to type any more. So I’m going to hit publish and then see what my rating is …
EDITED TO ADD Ha ha, my fiendish plan has succeeded. See, I is now R-rated. Mainly because I said death, hurt and slut at some point? Which seems odd. I wonder would they take slattern into consideration?

And I’m off
Heading back up to Sligo again this evening. The reason being, I’ve gotta collect my new laptop. A Dell Inspiron 6400.
But before I go, some good news. I don’t have “the consumption”
I know, I know, you’re all thinking well yes. That is good news, but not particularly newsworthy, only it is. On accounts in individuals in the college having it and us all being tested. My Mantoux test was negative, but so far either 9 or 11[1] people will require a follow up test. Course most of this is probably[2] due to a false positive because of their BCG vaccinations, but you never know. But who cares about them! I’m the only person that matters
Course we will all have to be tested again, as the second confirmed test is so recent that we might be infected but it might not show up. So in another three months I’ll be stuck with another needle. Oh joy of joys.

Its been fun, over the past few years, but *shrug* I’m bored now. And so, am retiring from the blogosphere.
For my final post I’d like to mention one of my favourite poems, We Are Seven by William Wordsworth. Its my mind because I posted a link to Sean Bean reading it over on Kelly’s blog. But it isn’t just Sean’s voice that makes me like it.
It was one we studied at college, and I’ve loved it since then.
Tags: bye, We are Seven, William WorsworthExtract from the poem:
Sisters and brothers, little Maid,
How many may you be?”
“How many? Seven in all,” she said
And wondering looked at me.“And where are they? I pray you tell.”
She answered, “Seven are we;
And two of us at Conway dwell,
And two are gone to sea.“Two of us in the church-yard lie,
My sister and my brother;
And, in the church-yard cottage, I
Dwell near them with my mother.”

As I may not have mentioned I am away for the weekend. I’m heading up to Sligo and so will be offline till Monday. So to keep you all occupied over the weekend I give you …
the pointless movie quiz type thing.[1] It is under the cut, cause otherwise this post would be too long.
In other news I went to see The New World last night. Good lord, it is boring.
- I suppose I could have worked on a better title ↩

I’m gone. But not wanting to neglect this auld blog I’ve set up a post or two for over the weekend. Today (hopefully) is Thanksgiving and while normally I don’t really care, this year I get the day off. Yeah for colleges affiliated with American ones
And I’m taking Friday off work too. So long weekend in store for me. I’m in Sligo now[1] and most likely am sitting down watching the telly doing nothing. Although I may take the sister to see Harry Potter at some stage. I’m sure she’ll whine and moan if I don’t.
- well, not now when I’m writing it, but the future now when you are reading this. Actually, come to think of it I’m probably on the train, maybe the bus, on my way TO sligo. Confuddled yet? ↩

Almost forgot to say that I’m off home for the weekend, so I’ll be offline till Sun/Mon.
And I did have something else to say, but I’ve just had to go look for some Chomsky books and for the life of me can’t remember what it was. So you’ll just have to read this rambling around nothing instead. I suppose I could make something new up, but its after 4, I’m leaving in 20 mins, and so can’t be arsed. Friday means time for the brain to switch off.
So what better topic to discuss than the new James Bond. I mean, does anyone really care? Apart from Daniel Craig who is the new Bond. I surely don’t. And hence, do not need my brain to discuss him, because I aint going to.
