Deborah Lawrenson is a British author, and journalist. In addition to The Lantern, Songs of Blue and Gold and The Art of Falling, Deborah has written three previous novels: The Moonbathers and the newspaper satires, Hot Gossip and Idol Chatter, all published by Heinemann. She has also contributed to The Booklovers’ Appreciation Society, a collection of short stories published by Orion. (Taken from her bibliography on her website.)
