Dir: Jon Favreau

I really enjoyed Iron Man and I love Mr. Downey Jr. and I think Jon Favreau is so very adorable. All positives, so I’m guessing you can all feel the but coming. I’m going to keep you waiting, for a little while at least, because Iron Man 2 is a really fun film. And the effects are great. I enjoyed all the roles, Downey is great as Stark, he pulls off the role of ass-hole multi-millionaire while at the same time he is an engaging character. And all the supporting cast, while they aren’t asked to do a huge amount, do their jobs well.

The problem I have with films that centre on the British monarchy is that I’m Irish[1] And so predisposed to dislike them. All that pomp and ceremony that exalts the royal person. Bleurgh I hates it. Just been to see Master and Commander: The far side of the Ocean and have to say I had a very enjoyable afternoon. Even before the film started I was entertained by the Irish Health Board’s anti-AIDs ad, even if it did elicit some anti-homosexual groans from a a couple of lads up the back of the cinema. Basically the

This is not a film for everyone, as I watched it quite a few members of the audience left. One couple even left with less the 20 minutes to go, nevertheless I am going to recommend it because I really really enjoyed it. I haven’t seen any of Von Trier’s films before, and I’m not sure if this will make
