This was my book club’s choice for May. I had heard about it before that and had meant to read it but hadn’t gotten around to it before now. Then again, it only came out in 2018, so I’m not too far behind the times with this one.

Notes to self is a collection of essays, biographical musings about Pine’s personal life. In the first essay she talks about her father’s illness in Greece and how she and her sister went to try and take care of him, all the time thinking this is it, the time he doesn’t make it.

It is a great book, but very difficult to read in places. Pine is very honest about her feelings and emotions and the things that happened her. I would highly recommend it.
