The Copper Cat trilogy ; book 3

As this is book three in a trilogy you really should read the books in order. And if you enjoy action and adventurer fantasy quests then you’ll probably enjoy this series. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Personally I think that each book has been better than before, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the Black Feather Three and their world.

I read the first book back in 2014, so it has taken me quite a while to get to this one, but don’t let that delay you. I really think that they’d be best read somewhat close together as the stories do follow directly on from one another.

To the adventure, magic, dragons, and quests of the earlier books are now added pirates and time-travel and even more magic. It’s all mixed together to make for a great read. A real page-turner, but with proper characters. I’m still very fond of Sebastian, but I think that Wydrin is probably my favourite character. She takes no shit from anyone and is quite aware of her own talents. Sure she’s a bit of a bragger and apt to show off, but if that is what it takes to get ahead in life then that’s what she needs to do. Mainly though I love the interactions and relationships between the characters, her, Frith and Sebastian are a proper found family. And I really enjoyed the way they grew and developed.

Plus dragons! and battling gods and time travel, all in all what’s not to enjoy?
