    I'm intrigued that he would want people to "steal" his work instead of buying it but I guess he has some circular logic going on with his argument as I read the link to the article you included.

      I guess his argument is like the one people often use about the library, or 2nd hand book shops, people may pick a book up there because it is free, or cheap. And if they like what they read they may be inspired to buy their next read by that author.

      It is like listening to the radio and hearing some really good music so you go buy the single/album. If you hadn't heard/read it for free you wouldn't know about it at all.

    I'm not sure what he wants to achieve but it still sounds not as silly as Lucía Etxebarría who wants to stop writing because people stole her books.
