How cute

I walked past the Dáil today. And there was a a garda on the street. As usual. And another one the inside the grounds of the government buildings. Again, nothing unusual about that.

And they were chatting to each other. As gardaí sometimes do.

But they looked so cute, chatting to each other, hands on the big iron bars that separated them. Just like a couple in a film where one is in prison or summat.

    Awwwww is right. Cute story. Pity you couldn’t take a pic but they’d probably think you were going to put it on YouTube and would shoot you on sight. :-) Were they male:male or male:female. Cos I’m watching Brokeback Mountain at the moment so I just totally assumed male:male. Brokeback Gardai. Awesome.

    And no pic because I was carrying a bagel in one hand and a tea in the other and counted grab the mobile. Plus the whole shooting me on sight with their non-guns

    However, I have to remonstrate with you for your ‘bagel and tea’. It’s far too mixed-cultures. Like bacon and hummous. Or pastrami and soda bread.
