I've always thought it would make a fantastic film. I know it's been optioned many times--Robert Redford had the rights for ages. I can't figure out why it never got made, when Finney's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is now on its fourth film adaptation. The sequel is OK, but not a knockout. I love this book!
