Thirteen Things to complain about today
- As you can see from the first post today, the Irish football team. What was that all about?
- The fact that we have no snow today.
- The fact that the weather forecast constantly lie to us.
- Cars who zoom past you, straight into puddles meaning you gotta jump really quickly to avoid the water. Especially when they almost hit the footpath in the process.
- I’m doing overdues today. And seeing as our LMS is so crap I’ve a lot of tedious editing of letters to do.
- Students and their mobile phones. Yes, this is an ongoing subject of a moan.
- It is only Thursday. It should be Friday, and the weekend.
- The Irish soccer team. I can’t complain enough about them.
- The fact that I’ve got my brand new and ultra shiny Rocky dvd, but won’t have time to watch it this evening.[1]
- Lost is back this Monday. It annoys me so.
- I’ll still watch it though.
- The Irish soccer team are really shite. But I quite like Stan. Just not as a gaffer
- There is more than a month until the next Bank Holiday.

First off, I loved the footnote. It was inspired. As for the weather forecasters, well, I live in San Diego. Our weather forecasters are terribly overpaid. The weather is the same every day here. :-)
I must say, I can't complain about my football team as I have in previous years. The New Orleans Saints made it to the NFC Championship game. I was totally jazzed about that. Next year promises to be even better. Best of luck with the Irish football team.
By the way, $50M per year for David Beckham? Insane!

Hey Chris, you were stuck in the moderation queue, I had huge trouble with Akismet eating comments so I use SpamKarma, and sometimes it throws out a captcha thing. Now that you've been approved once you should be able to comment whenever you want.
At this stage of Stan's career I'd actually welcome McClaren, scary as that sounds :)

The weather "people" here in Iowa, USA are terrible alarmists. "Snow, snow, there will be snow! Stock up on food!" etc. Then we'll get a slight dusting of a few flakes that are easily ignored. Oh well.

I am right with you on number 7. Although now it is Friday – it should be after 5pm so I can be home and not in work. This has been a ridiculously long week.
