Thirteen Things to complain about today
- As you can see from the first post today, the Irish football team. What was that all about?
- The fact that we have no snow today.
- The fact that the weather forecast constantly lie to us.
- Cars who zoom past you, straight into puddles meaning you gotta jump really quickly to avoid the water. Especially when they almost hit the footpath in the process.
- I’m doing overdues today. And seeing as our LMS is so crap I’ve a lot of tedious editing of letters to do.
- Students and their mobile phones. Yes, this is an ongoing subject of a moan.
- It is only Thursday. It should be Friday, and the weekend.
- The Irish soccer team. I can’t complain enough about them.
- The fact that I’ve got my brand new and ultra shiny Rocky dvd, but won’t have time to watch it this evening.[1]
- Lost is back this Monday. It annoys me so.
- I’ll still watch it though.
- The Irish soccer team are really shite. But I quite like Stan. Just not as a gaffer
- There is more than a month until the next Bank Holiday.

Or so one of the papers put it. All I can say is OMFG! 2-1. Two-one!? First of all, we only managed to score two goals! and second of all we let San Marino score. San Ma-fucking-rino? There aren’t enough exclamation marks in the world to convey my shock.
I mean, we all expected at least 5 goals, didn’t we?
And yet, there was something horribly predictable about last night’s match, and although we had a few goal chances we never really looked out of sight of San Marino[1] Wales must be laughing at the thought of their visit to Croke Park.
Linknotes:
- that is San Marino, with a pop. of 30 thous people and a football team of part-timers ↩
