Jesus, if Lee Haevey Oswald had been from Mayo, JFK’d be alive and kicking!

Oh my good god[1] was that a terrible match or a terrible match. Though obviously not if you are a Kerry fan. But still. A 13 point difference! It was almost too embarrassing to watch.

In other news I have yet again succumbed to the evils of internet shopping and gone and purchsed some DVDs. American Gothic is one I’ve been meaning to buy for ages and ages. Gotta love that evil Sherrif Lucas Black-ness. And in a total impulse purchase I bought The Wire. See, I was over here, at Jayne’s World when she mentioned it. And how could I resist a show with that much fucking[2] in the one scene.

And weirdly, my sneezing has stopped. Maybe I was allergic to my room :)

Linknotes:

  1. or indeed my evil god, whichever
  2. er, not actual fucking. It isn’t porn, but saying fuck. A lot.

13 points' difference? In football? To think that some American op-ed said that nothing ever happened with that game, that'll show 'em.

Come on now Anne, this is proper football, which they haven't even heard of in America (unless they read this blog, or are irish American), it's GAA football. So you get goals and points. The final score was Kerry 4-15 Mayo 3-05

Is the wire that show with that Irish actor Aidan Gillen in it??

I too have succumbed to the evils of the internet and bought spooks series 4 and Third Watch.

I now have to cut up my credit card…. well mentally in my head anyway…

My sister no. 2 worships him. she met him in Rosses Point in the local a while back and made a total ass of herself.

She kept staring at him from accross the room and then finally plucked up the courage to ask him if he was Aidan Gillan. She then invited herself to sit at his table and proceeded to tell him how great he was before brother no 1 pulled her away! He rents a house in the village now and agin as his relatives are from there. He is very cute, lovely blue eyes….I wonder if my sister has scared him off though!!!

He had a great character in Queer as Folk indeed!

Enjoy it. You can let me know if its any good and I'll buy it for her for her birthday and then borrow it off her..

Am I not a great sis!!!!!
