Jesus, if Lee Haevey Oswald had been from Mayo, JFK’d be alive and kicking!

Oh my good god[1] was that a terrible match or a terrible match. Though obviously not if you are a Kerry fan. But still. A 13 point difference! It was almost too embarrassing to watch.

In other news I have yet again succumbed to the evils of internet shopping and gone and purchsed some DVDs. American Gothic is one I’ve been meaning to buy for ages and ages. Gotta love that evil Sherrif Lucas Black-ness. And in a total impulse purchase I bought The Wire. See, I was over here, at Jayne’s World when she mentioned it. And how could I resist a show with that much fucking[2] in the one scene.

And weirdly, my sneezing has stopped. Maybe I was allergic to my room :)

  1. or indeed my evil god, whichever
  2. er, not actual fucking. It isn’t porn, but saying fuck. A lot.

Mine are under the cut.
I woke up snezing this morning. Sneezing and snuffling. Bloody hell, September isn’t even over and already I’ve got a cold. Either that or I am suddenly allergic to my room. Who knows?

Also I succeeded in doing nothing this weekend. I had meant to go shoppin and buy new clothes, I need new work shit, as mine is looking a bit old. But then I decided to watch an episode[1] of Rome and before I knew it the day was over and I was busy watching the rugby. I could go today, but I won’t. The big match is on, and I can’t miss that.

Still I did manage to get through a few loads of washing. All I gotta do now is iron some of the wonderfully clean crap that is at the moment piled all over the gaff. And I did pay the NTL bill[2] And do a few other bits and pieces, so I suppose not a total waste of the weekend.

I also got finally took the decision to change the CMS for On The Ditch. I had been using pligg, which is sorta like digg. But was never really happy with it. So I spent a while messing about with others and eventually went with PhpNuke cause it seemed to offer what I wanted. It also offered a load more than I wanted, but it’ll do. Course there isn’t really any quick way of importing info from one to the other, blah blah blah, I could go on about all this boring stuff, but, well, it really isn’t interesting in the slightest so I won’t. The only thing I’ll say is that, if you did register with On The Ditch you should have recieved an email with a new password cause I couldn’t save them. And if you didn’t, or have any other problems let me know and I’ll resend your details.
