Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late
So I watched the final episode of Veronica Mars this morning. And, lo it was good. I have one little problem, but, not enough to make this anything less than a great episode. And a fantastic final episode. It ties up some parts, leaves others loose. It’s just great.
But now I gotta wait for more episodes, and despite rumours I don’t think there has been anything official about season three. It looks good, but not positive.
I also watched Thursday’s episode of The Sopranos. So very different to VM, but also great tv. Tony is a great, sympathetic, charismatic, repellent character. And I loved the way the mob society works, how Tony has to reassert his “alpha male” status by picking a fight on spurious grounds and winning. You could almost be watching a nature documentary rather than people.
