I can’t drink this coffee

25 March 2006

Okay so, I think I’ve gotten rid of Akismet. I hope so. And I’ve installed Spam Karma 2 instead. I did have this before, but an upgrade messed it up. But after messing about in sql, which I know nothing about, it now seems, seems to be working. So leave comments testing and we’ll see if things are hunky dory, or still craptacular.

So basically this is an open call to leave a comment about anything. Even if you’ve never visited the site before, just say hello, or something

Apparently it works fine. But just for the hell of it, I'm leaving a comment here anyway. 'Cause I'm a rebel.

Isn't it great the hell we go through to avoid spam?

And who named it SPAM? Who thought, "Oh, let's name it after a meat that bounces."

I miss the internet. I've been without it ALL WEEKEND. I'm going nuts.
No Veronica. No TWOP. No email. No blogging!!! Awfulness.

How about that double ep of BSG on Saturday? Oh, the greatness! xxx

  7. Fence says:

Come the revolution spammers'll be first against the wall. or should that be Fruitcakers?

Any news on when you'll be reconnected NM?
You know I almost missed the first episode of BSG as i thought the first part was the one we'd already seen. but then I figured what the hell I'll tune in and watch. Only for it to be new and shiny.

Bit meh over the ending though, thought they dodged the whole <spoiler>murder for the cause</spoiler> issue. The writers flinched :)

  8. NineMoons says:

Yeah, I thought removing a person from duty would have been sufficient. How about Gaius though? oooh!

  9. Fence says:

Naw, I got why the pres and Adama <spoiler>wanted to kill yer wan. Although maybe the President, as commander (surely) or the armed forces could have insisted she step-down. but then what if she said no.
I mean that by having neither kill the other and yet having the Admiral dead and out of the picture was a let off. the writers took the easy way out</spoiler>

but yes, Gaius is a very naughty boy.

  10. NineMoons says:

Oh, right. Well, I can't discuss it because I can't work out the spoiler thing… But while I got why they went for it, it seemed that they didn't explore alternatives (gagged, bound, disappeared) much. But yes, the writers flinched. Weren't going to have them going out into that darkness. Huh. As if the show ain't dark and morally ambiguous enought.

I loved Helo in these eppys!

    <spoiler>spoiler test.</spoiler>

  12. Fence says:

ust put spoiler tags around whatever it is you want to spoil. It won't show up in the preview, but it should work.

Didn't you get it to work before?

  13. NineMoons says:

No – never got it to work. Sigh.
