Almost two whole days have gone by and I haven’t posted, talk about withdrawel ;)

I did mean to post yesterday about walking to work and finding the streets paved in gold. When I saw gold I, of course, mean yellow. And when I say paved I mean scattered all over the street.

Yup, thats right, all over the footpath were packets of Strathroy butter. And not just in one place, all down the street, as though someone was walking and gently tossing them out as they traveled. Like a flowergirl at a fancy wedding scattering petals. Only these were tiny chunks of dairy product.

Still, much better than the other side of the road, where, despite the fact that you can get free pooper-scoopers from the council had allowed their dog to shit on the footpath. And some other genius[1] had walked straight through, and then spread it all over the footpath. You should see people dodging through this minefield of shite. It’d be funny if I didn’t have to join ;)

So I meant to repost all that yesterday. And probably in much wittier form:whatever: but the internet had been eradicated from the college. IT-man showed up after lunch. He thought it’d take a few minutes, he ended up messing about with hubs and other “technical” type things for over two hours. And he discovered that it wasn’t just the server problem that had killed the printer, but that it needs a new network card. So that won’t be working until the end of the week at the earliest.

Of course, Mr. IT did also promise new monitors, extra RAM, and to switch computers for us, but he is mad busy, so I’m not holding my breath.

And that evening I went out to meet the gels, that’d be blogless peoples, otherwise I’d link. So being in the pub, of course I was offline.

And today my brain felt like an athlete’s[2] till I got home and had a lovely shower and finally managed to wake up.

So now that I’m alert(ish) I’ve added a new plugin to the site, incase people want to post spoilers. All you do is use a spoiler tag ( < spoiler > ), Show Spoilers ▼

If you are using it stick what it spoils before hand will you. Oh, and do test it in the comments section, just to make sure it works.

Linknotes:
  1. I say this without the slightest hint of sarcasm!
  2. Read Anne’s post for an explanation
