Week 135

Published by Fence at 9:11 pm under Sport, Weekly memes

Seems like my saga of supporting losing teams has come to a middle. This week I had to pick between Tyrone and Armagh. I chose to support Armagh, mainly because of the wonder that is Owen Mulligan’s hair.
Honestly, how could I support a team with that hair ;) So Armagh it was. And of course they lost. By a single point, after a really close, intense game. Maybe I’ll say I’m supporting Tyrone so that I won’t jinx Kerry in the final?

  4. Not all that surprising to see that most of us have something to do with the hurricane for devastation. Buzzed got quite a few different responses though.

  6. Good call on Julie Benz, I loved her as Darla. Such a great character.

  7. Julie Benz - perfect. I couldn’t come up with a Julie, only Julia (been reading Brideshead again). I loved her hair and her little baby-doll voice. And that song she sang in Angel.

  8. I didn’t watch Buffy when it was on so me and the missus are making our way through it. We just finished season 2 and are on to season 3. Great show!

  9. Season 2 has always been my favourite season. After that I still loved it, but never quite as good for an overall season. But there are some marvellous episodes you have to look forward to; Hush the mostly silent episode and Once More With Feeling the musical episode are two to look out for

  10. I love watching television this way…no commercials and the instant gratification of being able to go on to the next episode!

  11. Instant gratification is lovely. I think that might improve my appreciation of Lost. Because, while I do like arcs, I think Lost is just too arc-y for weekly television.
