Who’s stupid now, eh?

Published by Fence at 3:06 pm under Ramblings

Noticing an intriguing headline[1] on Newsnow, I clicked on the link. And learned that lions in a safari park in England have been paying particular attention to Smart cars. Well, that meant I had to go google[2] cause I hadn’t a clue what the smart car was. Turns out there are this really small two-seater thingymebob car. And because they are so small they look very different than regular cars.

So the lions, no doubt thinking A’right, a’right, wats dis den?[3] , have been investigating this new addition to their home. Seems reasonable to me. The Daily Mail however think this makes them stupid. And post a little picture to illustrate their captionfunny looking lioness if you ask me.

Lionesses are confusing Smart cars with prey

Nuff said

Linknotes:
  1. Stupid Lions target Smart cars
  2. MSN - Amn’t I great that I’ve gone and saved you the bother
  3. the safari park is in Merseyside somewhere, lions are bound to have picked up a bit of an accent

  1. Maybe it’s a lioness with a facial hair problem?
How do you not know what Smart cars are? Didn’t we see millions of them in Rome, parked with their arses to the pavement in wee parking spaces that were too small for regular cars. Silly Fence.

  2. I knew them once I’d seen ‘em, but not the name

  3. Right so, I’ll forgive you then.
    I’m so feckin bored.

  4. Nonetheless… YIKES! I would hate to be in the car when lions came to look!

  5. Strangely enough, just after I posted this story and was walking home from work I spotted a smart car onthe streets. Bit small to be facing down a lion, whether male or female :)

  6. You know…I’m sorry, but there’s something so glorious about lions having accents. :D

  7. Well I’d say most have various African accents, obviously enough. But these ones are from the Merseyside, so I gave em scouse accents, although there are different merseyside accents, so I may be wrong :)
