An Anti-War Gig

Looks like an interesting line-up; Christy Moore, Damien Rice, Mary Black and others. If you are free on the 19th of June and in Ireland why not travel to the Point? Course I’ll be in Scotland so I can’t go

Anyone got a couple of quid to spare?

News from the Sligo Champion (free ref req’d), is that the Hawkswell theatre may not survive past this year. The Arts Council have cut funding, and it doesn’t look like the management have enough to keep theatre operating

“The situation is critical. We are facing a huge operating deficit. As things stand, we will be able to keep the doors open until the end of this year, but we cannot guarantee anything beyond that?, the theatre’s Marketing Manager, Mr. Joe Masterson confirmed this morning.”

I may be gone for sometime…

Published by Fence under Ramblings

I’ll prolly be online a lot less over the next few weeks. Finished at college, which means the end of free wireless access. Will try to update at least once a week though, and maybe more. Although I’ll be in Edinburgh between the 14th and the 19th so won’t be blogging, or emailing or nuffink then, prolly. So I may post a lot over the next two days, although then again I may not seeing as I have all my packing to do.

See how decisive I am :)
